**LobePort adheres to a strict "on-device processing only" privacy principle.** We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data, video feeds, audio input, or usage statistics related to you or your device's activity. All processing for video upscaling, display, and internal recording happens locally on your Apple Vision Pro.

LobePort is designed to function entirely offline, ensuring that your data never leaves your device's secure environment.

2. Requested Permissions and Their Usage

LobePort requires the following device permissions solely for its core functionality:

• **Camera Access (visionOS):** Required to access the live video stream from your connected HDMI-to-USB capture device via the Developer Strap. This video feed is processed instantly and remains on the device.
• **Microphone Access (visionOS):** While the app's current feature set does not utilize audio input (per current system limitations), microphone permission may be required by the system framework that manages external A/V capture devices. If granted, LobePort **does not process, record, or transmit** any audio data.
• **Photos/Media Library Access:** Required only if the user explicitly chooses to save a captured video recording. The app saves the resulting video file to a location designated by the user (e.g., Photos/Videos folder) locally on the device.

These permissions are required for the app to function. **No data obtained through these permissions is used for advertising, analytics, tracking, or sharing.**
